MV-22 Osprey demonstration: A V-22 Osprey flying around over San Diego Bay
This video shows an MV-22 Osprey in action. flying around and hovering above San Diego Bay.
Developed by by Bell-Boeing aircraft, the versatile MV-22 Osprey is shown doing a fly by and hovering over San Diego Bay during the Centennial of Naval Aviation “Parade of Flight” February 12, 2011
With the use of a tilt rotor, the Osprey can take off and land like a helicopter, but convert to a turboprop airplane while in flight. The Osprey’s rotors can be folded, and the wings can be rotated so it can be stored easily on naval warships like aircraft carriers and destroyers.
